LynWood was born June 12, 1963 in Denver, Colorado to LynWood and Shirley Mae (Eckhardt) Miller. He grew up in Fort Lupton where he graduated from Fort Lupton High School in 1981. After graduation he entered the US Navy serving aboard submarine USS Von Steuben throughout his time in the Navy. LynWood entered November 5, 1981 and was discharged November 4, 1985. He received Sea Service Deployment Ribbon with 4 stars; SSBN Deterrent Patrol Pin with three gold stars and received a Good Conduct Award. He attained the rank of QM2.

LynWood was born June 12, 1963 in Denver, Colorado to LynWood and Shirley Mae (Eckhardt) Miller. He grew up in Fort Lupton where he graduated from Fort Lupton High School in 1981. After graduation he entered the US Navy serving aboard submarine USS Von Steuben throughout his time in the Navy. LynWood entered November 5, 1981 and was discharged November 4, 1985. After he was honorably discharged, he returned to Colorado. He started working in the oilfields and worked as a pumper in the gas and oil industry. He was currently working for Anadarko. LynWood was very patriotic and loved God and his country. He was passionate about all of his many animals. He was the caregiver of the family, taking care of his parents for several years. Above all, the love and devotion to his family came first.

Survived by two sisters, Arlene Corder (David) of Fort Lupton and Annette Hopkins (Don) of Cozad, Nebraska. One brother Walter Willard Miller (Terri) of Fort Lupton. Two uncles Jimmie Miller of Greeley and W.A. Miller (Lucy) of Fort Lupton. Three nephews David Walter Corder, Jr., Jeremiah Jordan Corder, and Cody Michael LeBlanc. Numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Monday, April 7th from 5-7 p.m. at Stoddard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 7th at 10:30 a.m. at Stoddard Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
