Frederick "Fred" Anthony Procopio, 48, of Greeley, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015 at his home. Fred was born on October 18, 1966 in Newark, New Jersey to Anthony Alfred and Joyce (DiNapoli) Procopio.

Fred was raised in Long Island, New York, graduating from William Floyd High School. Fred worked as a heavy diesel mechanic all of his life.

Fred met Rhonda Claice in Denver. They moved to Greeley and were married on January 2, 2007.

Frederick "Fred" Anthony Procopio, 48, of Greeley, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015 at his home. Fred was born on October 18, 1966 in Newark, New Jersey to Anthony Alfred and Joyce (DiNapoli) Procopio.

Fred was raised in Long Island, New York, graduating from William Floyd High School. Fred worked as a heavy diesel mechanic all of his life.

Fred met Rhonda Claice in Denver. They moved to Greeley and were married on January 2, 2007.

Fred enjoyed riding two stroke motorcycles. In his 20s, he built muscle cars, then in his 30s he was a motocross racer and then in his 40s he owned a bike shop. Fred was learning to play the bass guitar.

He was outspoken and had a good sense of humor. He enjoyed helping people who were in need and had compassion for his daughter, Anna. He also loved animals, Italian food and spending birthdays and Christmas with his family.

Fred is survived by his wife, Rhonda Procopio; daughter, Anna Marie Procopio; parents, Joyce and Anthony Procopio; father-in-law, Rich Claice (Nancy) and mother-in-law, Brenda Claice; brothers, Joe (Akemi) Procopio and Anthony (Stacey) Procopio; brother-in-law, Rich Jr. Claice and aunt/godmother, Joanne Bivona.

Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2015 with Recitation of the Rosary at 2:30 p.m. both at Stoddard Funeral Home.
