Amy Jean Miller, 77, of Greeley, passed away August 29, 2017. She was born February 22, 1940 in Iowa City, Iowa to Joe and Cora Miller. Amy spent her childhood in the Kalona, Iowa area.
She came to Greeley and attended the University of Northern Colorado where she received her degree as a Registered Nurse. Upon her graduation in 1973, she worked in different areas of nursing, but was primarily a home care nurse.
She was a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, as a member of the Greeley Mennonite Church.

Amy Jean Miller, 77, of Greeley, passed away August 29, 2017. She was born February 22, 1940 in Iowa City, Iowa to Joe and Cora Miller. Amy spent her childhood in the Kalona, Iowa area.
She came to Greeley and attended the University of Northern Colorado where she received her degree as a Registered Nurse. Upon her graduation in 1973, she worked in different areas of nursing, but was primarily a home care nurse.
She was a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, as a member of the Greeley Mennonite Church.
Amy was a guardian angel to many people. Throughout her life, she was dedicated to serving others in the Greeley community. She was a foster mother to many children throughout the years. Even after her retirement, she continued to serve her community. Amy loved to collect spoons from different areas she would visit and enjoyed quilting. She had a passion for gardening and enjoyed the company of her American Cattle Dog Chester.
Amy is survived by one daughter Dawn Ganoza (Daniel Jr.) of Divide, Colorado; four granddaughters Kelly Noblitt (Kansas) of Greeley, Samantha Dahlman (Shawn Lauber) of Osborne, Kansas, Talleha Leija (Leo) of San Antonio, Texas and Abriana Humphress (Donovan) of Nashville, Tennessee; three grandsons Anthony Fogg (Cicily) of Caldwell, Idaho; Matthew Cowan (Denise) of Greeley and Daniel Ganoza III of Divide, Colorado; her great grandchildren Brandon, Nicholas, Natalie, Brooklyn, Emmalee, Zoe, Reagan, Emitt, Silas, Mikayla, Kaylee, Broley, Rylan and two great grandchildren who are expected; one brother Ervin Miller of Iowa and many nieces and nephews. One daughter Christine Dahlman preceded her in death on July 31, 2002.
Visitation will be from 5:00 -8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Greeley Mennonite Church, 401 11th Street. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. All are invited to a time of fellowship at the church following the committal service.
